love is as love does

Forrest GUmp probably would have said that.

I have wrote the first letter to somebody and so this morning I'm thinking of writing another one, with a different message.
"We say we love flowers, yet we pluck them. We say we love trees, yet we cut them down. And people still wonder why some are afraid when told they are loved."
I kinda have promised to comment on this quote , but i gotta admit that it's not easy to explore my own feelings regarding this matter. One might has said that just being told that you are loved doesnt mean that you are really loved, in other words, words arent enough. words are cheap. They cant prompt the feelings of truly being loved. Anyone could have easily said it right ?

Taking from a different point of view: words arent really cheap after all. they play a big role in ppl's life , having a huge impact, affecting ppl because of words that have been said, should have been said or should have never been said. It doesnt matter whether they lead to actions or not, they are costly indeed. If ppl are constantly denying the meaning of words being said, a whole lifetime can be wasted trying to find what is already right before their eyes. Allah has created human nature in such a way that a person will take pleasure from loving and being loved, so ppl should be happy being loved, and if there is a risk of being cut down, then its a risk they should take. Be a risk taker in life. Risk being loved. Flowers and trees are created to be cut and picked at times. Its called life, right ?

"Allah (subhanahu wa ta`ala) said: 'Those who love one another for My glory, will have minbars of light, and the Prophets and martyrs will wish that they had the same." (Reported by Tirmidhi, 4/24, Bab ma ja'a fi al-hubb fi-Allah)

What I believe in is simple : Being with people who live by the moral values of the Qur'an, enjoying love and friendship with them, brings me a greater pleasure than many other blessings. I couldnt ask for more. Having purpose in life of this world is to attain the approval, mercy and Paradise of Allah meaning that the entire life is spent for Him. I believe that love that comes from the heart of a believer is similarly powerful and deep because it has this "spiritual strength" that is based on the love of Allah, and their love is to attain the approval of Allah. Another reason why this love is strong and permanent is because they know that the relationship with the faithful will last for ever in the Hereafter. Since they intend to be one another's eternal friends in the Hereafter they are bound to one another with a deep love, respect and loyalty. Due to their fear of and sincere faith in Allah, no matter what difficulties they may encounter they never fall into defeat or lack of will. If there is a flaw in one of them, the other will support with proper moral values and encouragement.

Dear future other half,
the risk of being cut down im willing to take, as long as the love for Allah is constantly made.

Sincerely and with lots of love,
Mardhiyah xxx
